Most survive rushed mornings. A few transform them.

Why mornings matter for your productivity.

Mornings are a divine window of barakah (blessings). The Prophet (PBUH) himself was known to wake up early and make use of the time before Fajr for worship and planning.

The Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said: "O Allah, bless my nation in their early mornings".

Starting the day with Fajr prayer allows for spiritual connection, intentional planning for the day, increased mental clarity and focus and builds discipline and mindfulness.

Start the day with prayer, Quran and intentions.

Use the quiet of the early morning to read Quran and make Dua (supplication). Set positive intentions for the day ahead - focusing on both productivity and spiritual growth. Setting intentions for the day helps focus your mind and align your actions with Islamic values.

"Establish prayer from the declining of the sun to the darkness of the night; and hold fast to the recitation of the Quran at dawn, for the recitation of the Quran at dawn is witnessed" Quran 17:78

Say Alhumdulilah and trust in God's plan.

Start your day with gratitude. A positive outlook and morning dhikr (remembrance of Allah) invites barakah (blessings) into your day.

The Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said: "How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affairs are always good. If he is given ease, he is grateful, and that is good for him; and if he is afflicted with hardship, he is patient, and that is good for him".

Mindset matters.

Positive thinking is not about ignoring challenges but believing you can overcome them with an optimistic perspective and trust in God's plan.

"So truly where there is hardship, there is also ease" Quran 94:6

A positive mindset that is focused on progress rather than perfection, on growth over stagnation, on positive self-talk over pessimism leads to better stress management, increased productivity, lower risk of depression, greater resilience and improves creative thinking and mental processing.

Nourish your body through food and movement.

Our body is considered an amanah (trust) from Allah. We will feel and perform better when we are feeling nourished, rested and in optimal health.

The Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said: "No servant of Allah will move on the Day of Resurrection until he is asked about his life and how he lived it, his knowledge and how he utilized it, his wealth and how he earned it and spent it, and his body and how he used it".

Always remember that progress is better than perfection and taking the first steps towards change, such as establishing a productive morning routine focused on Allah, can have a profound impact on your life iA. You got this and Bismillah.
